The results showed that when participants took the 700 mg extract for 6 weeks, they were able to lose a good amount of weight. When the dosage was increased to 1,050 mg, participants lost more weight than they did when they were taking the daily 700 mg dosage. However, when participants were given placebo pills for six weeks, they did not lose any weight at all.
